Geotagging

I Learnt About Geotagging today, can't really see myself using it that much as an Illustrator but the idea behind it is pretty cool. Geotagging is geographical identification to various media such as photographs, video, websites. This data can include latitude and longitude coordinates, though it can also include allitude, bearing, accuracy data, and place names.
Geotagging can help people find a wide variety of location-specific information. You can find images taken near a given location by entering latitude and longitude coordinates into a Geotagging-enabled image search engine. You can use all different pieces of software and hardware to enable geotagging, you can use GPS and note down where and when you are, as a basic method. Another option is to use a GPS photo finder and it stores the information of where you took the photo and when, so you can upload them and follow the path of where you travelled.
